The Band 'Music From Big Pink' Mens Heather Brown T-shirt
The Band 'Music From Big Pink' mens heather brown cotton t-shirt features a posterized-style painting of the pink-siding house shared by Rick Danko, Richard Manuel and Garth Hudson in West Saugerties, New York. The music from The Band's first country/folk rock album released in 1968 was composed partly in "Big Pink." The 2-track recordings made by The Band, as a sort of audio sketch book, in the basement itself, came to be known as The Basement Tapes. "The Weight" gained widespread popularity, from The Band's performance of it at Woodstock on 17 August 1969 and due partially to its inclusion in the film Easy Rider. This is the house that Bob Dylan would eventually retreat to write songs in its large basement.
