Fragile was the progressive rock band's fourth studio album, and Yes' first to feature keyboardist Rick Wakeman. Yes' former keyboard player, Tony Kaye, was fired for his refusal to learn to play on electronic keyboards and synthesizers. Fragile peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Top LP charts and number 7 on the UK Albums chart. It was a commercial and critical success.
