John Mellancamp 'No Better ' Black T-Shirt
Black tee is printed with the artwork from John Mellancamp's 2010 CD, 'No Better Than This," the album he wrote during breaks on the Willlie Nelson / Bob Dylan 2009 tour. The t-shirt design is from his tour. Mellancamp debuted the first single, "Save Some Time to Dream," at a Barack Obama fundraiser, describing the song being "about individual freedom and thought-and controlling our own lives." The black and white image has a vintage pre-worn look, with yellow and blue accents. The album, produced by T Bone Burnett was recorded at several historic locations throughout the United States. It was listed as No. 12 on Rolling Stone's best albums of 2010. Great songs include Save Some Time to Dream, The West End and Right Behind Me. John Cougar Mellancamp's first hit was the 1979 "I Need A Lover." His 5th album released in 1982, American Fool, was the top-selling album with the huge hits, "Hurts So Good," and the number 1 single 'Jack & Diane.' Born in Indiana, his concern for the plight of America's farmer brought him together with Willie Nelson and Neil Young in launching Farm Aid. The rock anthems, "Crumblin Down," "Small Town," and "R.O.C.K. In The U.S.A.," are radio staples.
